Actress Hayley Atwell lends her voice to the character, bringing her to life in this animated adaptation. In a recent interview with The Movie Dweeb, Atwell praised the scripts and animation, expressing her excitement for the project.
“The scripts are fantastic and I’ve seen parts of the animation. It’s really poignant and funny and light, and I’ve loved doing it. I think the thing that they get so well is they really understand the tone of it, but they’re also pushing it forward into what the fans want, but it’s a natural progression of where it could go next. I love it.”
Although a specific release date for Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft anime series has not been announced, fans can anticipate its arrival on Netflix sometime in 2024. This eagerly awaited series is a collaboration between Netflix, Legendary, Crystal Dynamics, and Powerhouse Animation.
