Doom Patrol might change the line up of the characters in the upcoming seasons says the showrunner Jeremy Carver.
Doom Patrol, based on the comic superhero series has just wrapped up their fourth season and the part one premiered recently on HBO Max. The season 4 of the series keeps the heroes up against the difficult challenge as they battle to stop a horrible future from occurring after being embroiled with time travel last season.
The cast of the series included Riley Shanahan, Joivan Wade, April Bowlby, Brendan Fraser, Diane Guerrero, Matt Bomer, Timothy Dalton and many other popular stars.
In an interview with ScreenRant Carver shares his thoughts on the change in the character line up, he says, “That very much makes sense, and I don’t want to comment too much on that, but there is the Doom Patrol, and there’s the Doom Patrol family. If you’re asking me personally, can I see different iterations of both? Of course, I can; in the future, yeah!“
The series has a lot of amazing characters including Madeline Zima’s character Casey Brinke, also known as Space Case, introduced in Doom Patrol season 4. By the end of the season, it’s feasible that she’ll join the team permanently. Since Doom Patrol has always been an ensemble show, it makes sense that the cast would alter in upcoming seasons. It is still not confirmed if the series will return with season 5.
