Technoroid Overmind anime will premiere next year.
Technoroid Overmind, the Technoroid multimedia is a project by Noriyasu Agematsu, RUCCA, and Elements Garden’s television anime section.
The background for the wretched, beautiful androids tale is based on the entertainment tower Babel, which serves as humanity’s new beacon of hope after the planet has been drowned under water due to climate change. By winning the hearts of both humans and androids with their performances, a number of distinctive musical ensembles vie for the top spot in Babel.
Due to a sudden rise in the number of staff members who were diagnosed with COVID-19, the production firm for the anime, Doga Kobo, had to temporarily close in April, pushing the release date from July to now.
The music for the anime is composed by Elements Garden and RUCCA while the song is composed by Yukio Nagasaki.
The anime will air on TV Tokyo and TV Osaka, and will stream on many platforms in Japan including Abema, DMM TV, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, d Anime Store on January 4, 2023.
