Mean Girls Marks Oct. 3 with Free TikTok Film Streaming

In honor of October 3rd, a sacred day dedicated to the revered Aaron Samuels, fans can now indulge in the joyous experience of watching Mean Girls online for free. Paramount has divided the beloved 2004 teen comedy into 23 parts and made it available on TikTok for your viewing pleasure.

The streaming giant is hosting a TikTok Live watch party of the movie on their official page. This exciting event will commence on Tuesday at 7 pm ET and 4 pm PT, allowing fans to collectively celebrate the iconic film.

The significance of October 3rd has grown stronger this year, especially with the impending release of the Mean Girls movie musical in January. This adaptation of the film, based on Tina Fey’s 2018 Broadway production, features a fresh cast, with Angourie Rice taking on the role of Cady, originally portrayed by Lindsay Lohan.

The revamped version tells the tale of Cady, a teenager who transfers to a new high school and, after befriending a pair of local outcasts (played by Aulii Cravalho and Jaquel Spivey) devises a plan to overthrow a group of popular queen bees, played by Rene Rapp, Bebe Wood, and Avantika Vandanapu.

In the original movie, Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert, and Amanda Seyfried portrayed the trio who hold the title of Mean Girls. The film achieved modern classic status after earning a remarkable $130 million at the global box office upon its initial release.

While Tina Fey and Tim Meadows are set to reprise their roles as high school staff members in the upcoming movie, there is no confirmation yet on whether Lohan, McAdams, Seyfriend, and Chabert will make appearances in the project.

McAdams, in an interview with Bustle, expressed uncertainty about their involvement, saying, “I don’t see a way to shoehorn us in. But if Tina can figure it out, I’m there for sure.”

Mean Girls: The Musical will make its grand debut in theaters on January 12th.
