‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ Season 5 Scheduled to Return

Kelly Clarkson has exciting news for her fans. Her NBC talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, will be back on TV with it’s season 5 later this month. This comes after the conclusion of the 148-day Hollywood writer’s strike.

Unlike other talk show hosts, such as Drew Barrymore and Bill Maher, who announced their returns during the strike, Clarkson remained silent. This proved to be a smart move, as she didn’t have to backtrack like they did. Instead, she spent the summer performing live to promote her latest album, Chemistry, even having a residency in Las Vegas.

When The Kelly Clarkson Show returns for its fifth season on October 16th, it will have a new home at the iconic 30 Rock studio in New York. This means that Clarkson will be in close proximity to shows like Today, Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, and Late Night With Seth Meyers.

It also means potential surprise guests from these shows and Broadway theaters, which are just a stone’s throw away. “We can’t wait to welcome a vibrant audience to join us in the studio. There will be lots of surprises and plenty of giveaways,” said showrunner Alex Duda.

Kellyoke fans can expect to see Clarkson and her band perform impromptu duets with their 30 Rock neighbors and Broadway talent. They can also look forward to more episodes of Songs & Stories, featuring artists like Pink, Garth Brooks, and Chris Martin.

Additionally, the show will continue its signature segment, Good Neighbor, highlighting ordinary people doing extraordinary things in their communities.
