Season 3 Premiere Date Set for Power Book III: Raising Kanan

Power Book III: Raising Kanan will return on Starz for its third season, starting from December 1.

According to Deadline, fresh episodes will become accessible every Friday at midnight ET/PT through the Starz app across all Starz streaming and on-demand services.

As the story picks up after the events of Season 2, emotions are running high, and the stakes are even more elevated. The series returns to Southside Jamaica, Queens, where the family finds itself in turmoil, grappling with the aftermath of the organized attack by the Mob on Raquel, Marvin, and Lou-Lou.

Kanan faces a profound inner struggle involving concepts of morality, virtue, loyalty, and betrayal. This battle isn’t solitary; every member of the Thomas family is confronted with an existential crisis that shakes their core identities. Whether it’s Marvin’s pursuit of redemption, Raq’s decision to be honest, Lou’s internal struggle with his dark side, or Jukebox’s attempt to break free from her family’s damaging patterns, they are all on a journey to redefine and transform themselves.

While not everyone will succeed in this deeply personal endeavor, those who do might uncover a chilling revelation – the notions of right and wrong, good and evil, are not fixed. There are no absolute truths. Ultimately, all that remains is one’s own self.

Joining the cast of Power Book III: Raising Kanan are Omar Epps as Detective Malcolm Howard, London Brown as Marvin Thomas, Malcolm Mays as Lou-Lou Thomas, Hailey Kilgore as Jukebox, Joey Bada$$ as Unique, Shanley Caswell as Detective Burke, and Antonio Ortiz as Famous.
