Christina Hendricks & Paddy Considine Join Small Town Big Story

Christina Hendricks from Mad Men and Paddy Considine from HBO’s House of the Dragon have been cast in a new Sky original series called Small Town, Big Story.

The show, created and directed by Chris O’Dowd of Moone Boy fame, will have six episodes and revolve around an Irish village that becomes the center of attention when a Hollywood production descends upon it and uncovers an old secret.

The plot description promises a warm, witty, and highly dramatic comedy, stating that every small town has a story to tell, but some struggle to keep their secrets. Hendricks will play Wendy Patterson, a local girl who has made it big as a television producer in Los Angeles and returns to her hometown with a Hollywood production in tow.

Considine, on the other hand, will portray Seamus Proctor, Drumbn’s local doctor and a pillar of the community. Eileen Walsh, David Rawle, Leia Murphy, and other talented actors are also part of the cast, with more additions to be announced later.
