Adam Sandler’s Netflix Movie Breaks Rotten Tomatoes Record

Adam Sandler has reached a notable milestone in his career with his latest Netflix movie, You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah. Under his $350 million deal with the streaming service, Sandler stars in this comedy alongside his wife and two daughters.

The film has significantly surpassed the sports drama Hustle as Sandler’s highest-rated film, as indicated by Rotten Tomatoes. On the aggregate site, You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah boasts an impressive critics’ score of 95%, while Hustle follows closely with 93%.

Other films of Sandler’s that have earned acclaim include The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected)” with a 92% score, Uncut Gems with 91%, and Punch-Drunk Love with a score of 77%.

You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah

However, when it comes to audience opinions, there is some divergence. While Hustle remains the most favoured film among Sandler’s fans, You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah currently holds a 67% approval rating.

The film’s storyline revolves around two best friends whose plans for a bat mitzvah are disrupted by their shared interest in a popular boy. Sandler shares the screen with his Uncut Gems co-star Idina Menzel, alongside his wife Jackie and their two daughters, Sadie (17) and Sunny (14).
