During an audition by Alexa Wildish, Legend was all praise for her, describing her voice as “angelic” and “mesmerizing.” He reminded the audience that he had won The Voice in his first season (referring to Season 16) with an artist who possessed a similar tone.
According to the sources, in response, Niall Horan, known for his witty sense of humor, couldn’t resist poking fun. He quipped, “Hasn’t won it since,” eliciting laughter from the audience. Even Reba McEntire chimed in, acknowledging the playful banter with a comment, “Oww, tough crowd.”

Sharing a personal connection to the song, Horan continued, “Christine McVie and Stevie Nicks are half the reason why I picked up a guitar and started writing songs. The fact that you chose that song, I’m just getting goosebumps even thinking about it.”
Despite acknowledging some pitch issues in Alexa’s performance, Horan was eager to have her on his team. With all four coaches vying for her talent, Alexa ultimately chose to join Team Niall, setting the stage for an exciting journey in The Voice Season 24.
