Deadpool 2 Star ‘Lewis Tan’ teases his mutant character’s return as the X-Force member from Mojoworld, Shatterstar, in the upcoming Deadpool 3.
A recent tweet from actor Lewis Tan included a brief message and a promotional picture for the upcoming MCU film. The emojis used in the tweet appear to be allusions to the mutant Shatterstar character played by Tan in Deadpool 2 called Rusty.
Shatterstar was enlisted by the Merc with a Mouth as a member of X-Force, as fans of the Deadpool 2 may recall. He boasted that he was an extraterrestrial from the planet Mojoworld and that he was far better to regular people in almost every regard. On the team’s first operation, he was supposedly not allowed to parachute because a chopper tore him to bits.

Tan’s post implies that Shatterstar might still survive despite the seeming finality of his appearance. Wade travelled across time at the end of Deadpool 2 to prevent Vanessa from meeting an early death, prevent X-Force member Peter from unintentionally melting, and kill his X-Men Wolverine: Origins counterpart, among other things.
Other members of X-Force may not be returning in Deadpool 3 just yet. Actor Zazie Beetz, who played Domino in Deadpool 2, previously hinted she is not involved in the third instalment. The same was suggested by actor Morena Baccarin, who played Vanessa, who expressed she would be open to reprising the role.
