Why HBO Max canceled Minx?

Minx has been canceled by HBO Max even after the renewal of season 2.

Warner Bros decided to cancel the show after giving permission for season 2 renewal. The show has been scrapped after the studios decided to do cost-cutting. Warner Bros. Discovery made the decision to cancel the show as part of its newest cost-cutting measure. The second season of the show was about to wind up production additionally, the first season will also be removed from HBO Max as the show’s creator, Lionsgate Television, plans to pitch the project to other platforms.

Jeremy Zimmer, the head of the agency says that it’s extremely sad to take off the show because that is really unfortunate and it takes years to build the trust of artists and brands like the brand of Warner Bros., and it doesn’t take long to destroy that.

He further says, “I don’t want to say they’re being destroyed, but decisions like this certainly put people on edge. If I have [a project] that is very desired, what’s the place that is going to stay in love until there’s absolutely no reason to be? In moments of consolidation and chaos, it becomes difficult to have a full-on “Oh, we can’t do business with them” because that’s not fair to a bunch of other clients that may be excited to sell their show to HBO or Warner Bros.”

It seems like Zimmer is not very happy with the news of HBO Max canceling the show after giving it a renewal for season 2.
