The Barbie Movie trailer has been launched.
The Barbie Movie, Greta Gerwig’s long-awaited movie launched the trailer. Gerwig and Noah Baumbach have written the script. The franchise took 8 years of development with lots of changes that occurred during this time. In earlier draughts of the script, Amy Schumer and Anne Hathaway were considered for the part.
Margot Robbie will play the role of the iconic Barbie doll. The Australian actress is renowned for her work in both blockbusters and independent movies. She has been nominated for two Academy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards, and five British Academy Film Awards, among other honors.
Robbie was named one of the 100 most influential persons in the world by Time magazine in 2017, and Forbes listed her as one of the highest-paid actors in the world in 2019.
The movie includes the supporting star cast of Gosling, Liu, America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Ariana Greenblatt, Alexandra Shipp, Emma Mackey, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Issa Rae, Michael Cera, Rhea Perlman, Will Ferrell, Nicola Coughlan.
