Rosalind Eleazar Takes the Lead in Netflix’s ‘Missing You’ Amid Slow Horses Success

Rosalind Eleazar, acclaimed for her role in Slow Horses, is stepping into the spotlight again as she leads the cast in Netflix’s adaptation of Harlan Coben’s novel, Missing You.

Currently in production in the UK, the drama unfolds the intriguing narrative of detective Kat Donovan, who stumbles upon her estranged fiancé on a dating app, prompting a deep dive into the enigma surrounding her father’s murder.

Quay Street Productions, backed by ITV Studios and led by Nicola Shindler, is at the helm of production. Shindler’s recent success with the hit Coben adaptation, Fool Me Once, has positioned her as a key player in bringing Coben’s gripping stories to the screen. Coben himself will serve as an executive producer through his company, Final Twist Productions.

Missing You

The series, penned by Victoria Asare-Archer, known for her work on Coben’s Stay Close, will be directed by Sean Spencer, with Isher Sahota joining as the second director. The powerhouse team of executive producers includes Coben, Shindler, Richard Fee, Asare-Archer, and Brocklehurst, with Guy Hescott taking on the role of producer.

Missing You marks the ninth project under Netflix’s prolific collaboration with Harlan Coben, who has sold over 80 million books globally. Following the success of Fool Me Once, which garnered 61 million views in its initial two weeks, anticipation runs high for Eleazar’s performance in this latest adaptation.

Eleazar, renowned for her roles in Slow Horses, Class Of ’09, Deep Water, and Harlots, continues to make waves in the industry. Represented by The Artists Partnership in the UK and Principle Entertainment LA, Eleazar’s involvement in “Missing You” adds another compelling layer to her diverse portfolio.

As the production unfolds, Netflix remains tight-lipped, keeping audiences on the edge of their seats, eagerly awaiting the unveiling of this thrilling adaptation.
