Longlegs, a horror film from Jason Cloth and Dave Caplan’s C2 Motion Picture Group, will star Oscar winner Nicolas Cage. In 2023, the filming is expected to start.
The project’s producers have stated that the plot will be in the style of old-school Hollywood psychological thrillers, but plot details are being kept under wraps. The script was written by Osgood Perkins (Gretel & Hansel), who will also direct the film, with C2 Motion Picture Group serving as producer and financier.
Producers of Longlegs are Nicolas Cage along with his production company Saturn Films (The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, Pig), Dan Kagan (Significant Other), Brian Kavanaugh-Jones (Insidious), Dave Caplan (The End We Start From) and Chris Ferguson (Child’s Play).
The movie’s global sales are being co-repped by UTA and CAA Media Finance.
