Jennifer Aniston has opened up about her fertility struggles for the first time, and it stands as a stark warning to quit asking women when or if they want to have children.
In a recent interview with Allure, Aniston addresses her struggles about being unable to conceive.
“I was trying to get pregnant. It was a challenging road for me, the baby-making road. After all the years and years and years of speculation… It was really hard. I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it. I was throwing everything at it. I would’ve given anything if someone had said to me, ‘Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.’ You don’t think it. So here I am today. The ship has sailed.”
She goes on to say, “I’ve spent so many years protecting my story about IVF. I’m so protective of these parts because I feel like there’s so little that I get to keep to myself. The [world] creates narratives that aren’t true, so I might as well tell the truth. I feel like I’m coming out of hibernation. I don’t have anything to hide.”
Aniston’s statement was devastating because rumors about her having a kid has been a media staple for decades. Fans on social media are calling out all the magazines that published her images with the circle around her tummy with an arrow pointing to it and the word “bump” printed on it.
I remember seeing an article showing a supposable “baby bump” it was possibly bloating. All females have a bloated stomach from time to time. These articles are absolutely disgusting. There’s no need for their venomous lies!
