When asked if she has seen anything from the Wednesday new season, Jenna Ortega replied in the affirmative. She hasn’t, according to Ortega, who adds that she thinks the writers’ room is just coming together right now.
“I have seen nothing, and I know nothing,” said Jenna Ortega. “I feel like sometimes as the actor, you just are kind of told what to do. I’m waiting on it, I think they’re just starting to get a writers’ room together, so maybe soon.”
“It’s been incredible to create a show that has connected with people across the world,” showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar said in a statement announcing Season 2 of the series. “Thrilled to continue Wednesday’s tortuous journey into season two. We can’t wait to dive headfirst into another season and explore the kooky spooky world of Nevermore. Just need to make sure Wednesday hasn’t emptied the pool first.”
Following the series’ success on the platform, Netflix revealed last week that a second season would be added. With 1.237 billion hours seen in its first 28 days, the Ortega starring blockbuster rose to become Netflix’s second-most watched English-language series.
