Disney’s ‘Zombies 4’ Takes Off in New Zealand: Meet the New Cast

As the latest installment of the beloved “Zombies” franchise kicks off production in New Zealand, the cast for “Zombies 4” is finally unveiled, promising a fresh dose of supernatural excitement.

Joining the ranks are Swayam Bhatia, Julian Lerner, and Mekonnen Knife, portraying enigmatic new characters Vera, Ray, and Vargas, respectively. Lisa Chappell and Jonno Roberts also step into new adult roles as Eldress and Commander Bright.

In this eagerly anticipated sequel, Zed and Addison, portrayed by Milo Manheim and Meg Donnelly, set out on a summer road trip after their first year of college. Their journey leads them to the unexpected discovery of Sunnyside and Shadyside, two warring worlds inhabited by a myriad of supernatural beings, including werewolves, aliens, and now, mysterious newcomers Nova, Victor, Vera, Ray, and Vargas.

Directed by Paul Hoen, who has helmed all previous “Zombies” films, and penned by Josh Cagan, David Light, and Joseph Raso, “Zombies 4” promises to deliver the signature blend of adventure and excitement that fans have come to love. Executive producers include Milo Manheim, Meg Donnelly, and a team of seasoned industry veterans.

Excitement for the franchise doesn’t stop there. Disney also announced “Zombies: The Re-Animated Series,” marking the franchise’s foray into animation and set to debut on Disney Channel and Disney+ this summer.

As production heats up and anticipation builds, “Zombies 4” is poised to captivate audiences with its thrilling narrative and new ensemble cast.
