Season 4 of Bungo Stray Dogs is based on the same-named manga by Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa. It is made by the company Bones. Takuya Igarashi directed it, and Yoji Enokido is the writer who made characters like Atsushi Nakajima, Ryūnosuke Akutagawa, and Natsume Sōseki.
What is the story of Bungo Stray Dogs?
The story of show follows a young boy Atsushi Nakajima who is an orphan living in an orphanage. His orphanage has been facing some strange events lately and Atsushi seems to be able to see a mysterious tiger who is causing these events in the orphanage. Since Atsushi is the only person who can see the tiger everybody blames him for everything and the poor boy is kicked out of the orphanage and abandoned, Atsushi has no place to go and nothing to eat.
He goes to the side of the river where he sees a drowning man and saves his life who later introduces himself as Osamu Dazai. Osama upon finding out Atsushi’s story tells him that he has been investigating this tiger, the one Atsushi sees. Osama Dazai is a supernatural investigator who works with his partner Doppo Kunikida. They invite Atsushi to their team and together they work to save Yokohama.
