‘Conjuring 4’ might wrap up the story

The filmmaker James Wan says that Conjuring 4 might wrap up the story of Ed and Lorraine Warren.

James Wan and Chad and Carey W. Hayes’ supernatural horror thriller The Conjuring was released in the United States in 2013. It is the first installment in The Conjuring Universe series.  As paranormal researchers and authors Ed and Lorraine Warren, played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, are linked to well-known haunting instances.

The Amityville Horror novel and film franchise were inspired by their allegedly true-life accounts. The Warrens help the Perron family, who in 1971 began to encounter increasingly unsettling occurrences at their newly occupied farmhouse in Rhode Island.

In an interview with Collider, Wan talked about The Conjuring 4, expressing the possibility that it will be the last in the Conjuring series. He says, “With the Conjuring films, we are very precious about [them]. And so we kind of want to just take our time to make sure we get it right and to make sure the emotion of the Warren stories that we want to tell, and moving into, and potentially wrapping up, we just want to make sure that it’s the right thing, the right story that we’re telling.”

The cast in this franchise includes Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Sterling Jerins, Joseph Bishara, Shannon Kook, Joey King, Lili Taylor, Lorraine Warren, and others.

The chances are that the movie will appear by the end of this year. however, no release date has been revealed.
