Hulu Renews ‘Only Murders In The Building’ For Season 4

Hulu has officially renewed the hit series Only Murders in the Building for a fourth season. This comes hot on the heels of the season three finale, which aired on Tuesday and left viewers hanging with an intense cliffhanger.

The show, starring Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, follows the trio as they unravel murder mysteries through their true crime podcast.

Season three saw the addition of some incredible guest stars, including Meryl Streep, Paul Rudd, Jesse Williams, and Ashley Park. The group joined forces to work on a Broadway play directed by Martin Short’s character.

However, when a murder rocks the production, the characters find themselves not only solving the crime but also creating a musical with the help of talented Tony Award-winning composers.

While fans are eager to know if Streep and Williams will return in season four, showrunner John Hoffman shares his excitement, saying, “There is no greater hope for me. I love them both, Jesse and Meryl, everyone. I mean, for God’s sakes, I would bring Paul back if we can. Listen, I would bring everyone back, and that might happen. Victims, killers, they’re all able to play in the landscape within this sort of certain narrative ways we can tell our stories.”

The first two seasons of Only Murders in the Building delved into the murders of residents within the building, featuring notable guest stars like Tina Fey, who also makes an appearance in season three.

Since its premiere in August 2021, the series has garnered critical acclaim, including Emmy nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series during season two.

Created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman, the show is produced by 20th Television. Hoffman serves as the showrunner and executive producer, along with Martin Short, Selena Gomez, Dan Fogelman, and Jess Rosenthal.
