Buffalo Soldiers

Buffalo Soldiers is a documentary that looks back in time to understand the Buffalo Soldiers, who were all-Black military group which was formed in 1866. These soldiers served in and fought in World War II. They had to deal with two challenging situations: fighting in wars overseas and fighting for civil rights back home. 

Despite the promise of citizenship in exchange for military enlistment as per the 14th Amendment, these men were denied this right due to Jim Crow laws. Yet, they played a significant role in the United States’ westward expansion.
