“Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” includes Michelle Yeoh & Pete Davidson

Steven Caple Jr. the director of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, announced on Instagram that Pete Davidson (Bodies Bodies Bodies) and Michelle Yeoh (Everything Everywhere All at Once) have agreed to voice the characters of Maximal Airazor and Autobot Mirage, respectively. The current release date for the action movie is June 9, 2023.

Anthony Ramos (Hamilton, In the Heights) and Dominique Fishback will serve as the movie’s directors (Judas and the Black Messiah). Bumblebee and Autobot Mirage, who had previously appeared, as well as newly introduced characters Scourge, Arcee, Nightbird, Air-Razor, Rhinox, and Optimus Primal, all join them. Ron Perlman will provide the voice for the latter.

A couple of behind the scenes films showing Yeoh and Davidson during their recording sessions were also included in Caple’s post.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, the latest instalment, will take viewers on a 90s world tour and introduce the Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons to the ongoing conflict between the Autobots and Decepticons on Earth.

It will do this by bringing back the action and spectacle that first enthralled moviegoers around the world with the original Transformers 14 years ago. The upcoming live-action movie, which will follow Optimus Prime in his G1 robot form in the 1990s when he is new to Earth, will take place in New York City and Peru.
