‘The Witcher: Blood Origin’ gets the least expected scores in franchise history

The Witcher: Blood Origin is not actually winning over fans or critics while being the #1 show on Netflix.

The series’ rotten tomatoes critics score was only 38 percent out of 24 reviews, while its audience score was considerably worse at just 8 percent out of more than 1500 user evaluations. The franchise as a whole received the lowest rating with this one.

The Witcher: Blood Origin is generally regarded as being a shallow investigation of the series’ backstory that shares DNA with the series but lacks much that makes it noteworthy.

The series, The Witcher: Blood Origin will tell a tale lost to history: the creation of the first prototype Witcher and the events leading to the crucial Conjunction of the Spheres, when the worlds of monsters, men, and elves merged to become one. Set in an elf world 1200 years before the time of Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri.

The audience shared their reviews about the series.

The Witcher: Blood Origin is currently streaming on Netflix.
