Miranda Tapsell and Gwilym Lee, known for their roles in the 2019 film ‘Top End Wedding‘, are set to reignite their on-screen chemistry in a new romantic-comedy series titled ‘Top End Bub‘, exclusively on Prime Video Australia.

Continuing the story from the box office hit, ‘Top End Bub‘ follows Lauren (played by Tapsell), a vibrant Indigenous lawyer in Adelaide, and her husband Ned (portrayed by Lee), a baker, as they embark on the adventure of parenthood after unexpectedly becoming guardians to Lauren’s eight-year-old niece.

Written by Tapsell and co-writer Joshua Tyler, the series promises a blend of romance, humor, and heartfelt moments as the couple navigates the challenges of family life in Australia’s Top End.

With filming scheduled to begin in May across the Northern Territory and Adelaide, the show is backed by acclaimed production house Goalpost Pictures, alongside support from Screen Australia, Screen Territory, and the South Australian Film Corporation. International distribution rights are secured by Germany’s ZDF Studios.
