‘Mickey 17’: Robert Pattinson to feature in Bong Joon-hoo’s film

Mickey 17 will be Bong Joon-ho’s next feature film after the Oscar-winning Parasite.

Mickey 17 is a Korean director Bong Joon-hoo new franchise which will star Robert Pattinson as a lead role.

The movie is a sci-fi film and is based on a novel Mickey7 written by Edward Ashton. The story line describes as “The Martian meets Dark Matter in Edward Ashton’s high concept science fiction thriller, in which Mickey7, an “expendable,” refuses to let his replacement clone, Mickey8, take his place.”

Along with Pattinson, the cast includes Steven Yeun, Naomi Ackie, Toni Collette, Mark Ruffalo and a lot more. This will be Pattinson’s third film with Warner Bros. pictures. His roles in The Batman and 2020’s Tenet, where he was directed by Christopher Nolan in the first post-COVID big-budget cinematic release.

The movie will be released across cinemas worldwide on March 29,2024.
