‘Love Is Blind’ Dominates Nielsen Streaming Charts; ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Surges to No. 5 on Netflix

Love Is Blind has seized the throne on the Nielsen streaming charts, surpassing even the mighty Avatar: The Last Airbender, as Season 6 of the reality dating sensation began to intensify.

During the week of February 19 to 25, Love Is Blind racked up a staggering 2.1 billion viewing minutes, slightly lower than the previous week but still enough to claim the top position. This surge coincided with the release of the second batch of episodes in Season 6, hitting Netflix on February 21.

Meanwhile, Avatar: The Last Airbender experienced a notable decline in viewership compared to its debut week on the platform, still amassing an impressive 1.9 billion viewing minutes.

Love Is Blind

This drop in viewership post-release is typical, particularly for shows with all episodes available at once. Viewers often binge-watch rapidly and move on, unlike shows with staggered releases, such as Love Is Blind.

The remainder of Nielsen’s Top 10 was dominated by familiar favorites like Bluey, Young Sheldon, Grey’s Anatomy, and Suits. Notably, the USA Network procedural Suits has been making a resurgence in the charts after a brief absence.

Joining the streaming frenzy, Brooklyn Nine-Nine has stormed onto the scene, claiming the No. 5 spot with 847 million minutes viewed, following the arrival of four seasons of the beloved series on Netflix.
