Joker 2 director Todd Phillips explains why he has not revealed Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn appearance yet.
Joker 2 has revealed the look of the first look at Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker but has not yet revealed the first look at Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn. The fans were excited to hear about the new sequel of the blockbuster release by Warner Bros. Since 2019 the Joker fandom is looking forward to the new release. But the more exciting news came in June 2022 when it was revealed that Lady Gaga will be joining as Harley Quinn.
Joker: Folie a Deux the new sequel is in process and fans have been quite excited to see Phoenix in his return as Arthur Fleck. But till now the look of Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn has not been revealed yet.
The fans have blown up the director’s social media by asking the reason for not revealing the character. Replying to the curiosity of the fans the director says, “Getting a lot of these messages in my DMs. And on here. Sorry to say that LG does not start with us until after the new year. So it’s gonna be a bit.”
The 2019 comic book film Joker differentiated from the competition by being a drama with an unusual portrayal of mental illness. Now, Joker 2 will use a fresh technique to set itself apart from other comic book movies by incorporating musical aspects into the universe of the Joker and Harley Quinn.
However, for now, fans have to wait a bit longer for the look of Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn.
