John Mulaney and Netflix Team Up for ‘Everybody’s In L.A.’ Live Special

Comedy aficionados, rejoice! John Mulaney is joining forces with Netflix for a six-episode live special titled ‘Everybody’s In L.A.‘ While the lineup of special guests remains under wraps, a teaser released by Netflix hints at appearances by comedy icons such as Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, and David Letterman.

Set to run from May 2 to 10, the event promises a star-studded roster of over 300 live stand-up shows, table reads, sketches, and more. Alongside Mulaney, expect to see Netflix Is A Joke favorites like Nicki Glaser, Nick Kroll, Kevin Hart, Matt Rife, and Seth Rogen taking the stage.

Mulaney will take on the roles of host, co-showrunner, and executive producer for ‘Everybody’s In L.A.‘, alongside co-showrunner and executive producer Ashley Edens. Dave Ferguson will serve as the head writer, ensuring the show is packed with laughs from start to finish.

This collaboration marks Mulaney’s continued partnership with Netflix, following the success of his previous stand-up specials: ‘John Mulaney: Baby J‘ (2023), ‘The Comeback Kid‘ (2015), and ‘Kid Gorgeous‘ (2018). Additionally, Netflix premiered Mulaney’s acclaimed children’s show, ‘John Mulaney & The Sack Lunch Bunch‘, in 2019.

Netflix’s foray into live content with ‘Everybody’s In L.A.‘ comes after the chaotic Love Is Blind reunion debacle in 2023. With fingers crossed for a smoother experience this time around, comedy fans can anticipate an uproarious celebration of laughter and entertainment with Mulaney at the helm.
