Daniel Craig to star in Luca Guadagnino’s up coming film ‘Queer’.

Luca Guadagnino’s upcoming film is based on a novel. It is adaptation of William S. Burroughs‘ early novel Queer. A quasi-sequel to Burroughs book Junkie, which was published in 1953, is Queer. The novel apparently took two years to complete, although it wasn’t released until 1985. According to Burroughs, it symbolises his time without heroin.

The novel revolves around the story of a young insecure and self conscious guy Lee who lives in Mexico city among American students. Lee pursue to follow a young man Allerton who is a recently discharged American Navy serviceman from Jacksonville, Florida who made friends with Burroughs in Mexico City.

Craig has starred in movies like Knives Out, No time to die, Casino Royale, Defiance, Layer Cake, Logan Lucky, Dream house and many more. The star will appear in the Knives Out sequel, Glass Onion: Knives Out which will premiere on December 23.

Daniel Craig will star in Queer as Lee Luca Guadagnino next film while the director has not finalized who will star the character of Allerton.
