Curb Your Enthusiasm is likely to conclude with its upcoming 12th season. Filming for the season recently wrapped, and the final episode gave the feeling of a homecoming.
The show’s writer and producer, Jon Hayman, posted a photo with series creator Larry David and executive producer Jeff Schaffer from what he called the final episode in a now-deleted tweet. Richard Lewis, one of the show’s co-stars, also tweeted about filming his final scene for the series.
However, HBO has an open-door policy with Curb, and it is up to David to decide whether or not to return. The show has spanned 20 years, and its 11th season made it HBO’s longest-running series.
Larry David, in a statement announcing the renewal of Curb Your Enthusiasm for a 12th season, expressed that playing the role of Larry David has been the greatest honor of his life.
David discovered that there is more to Larry than he ever could have imagined, such as his ability to speak six languages, make his own pickles, and spearhead a national movement to install bidets in every home. He is excited to once again become the force of nature that is Larry and only hopes he can do him justice.
