‘3 Body Problem’ Maintains No. 1 Spot Despite Slow Week for Netflix TV

Netflix’s 3 Body Problem continues its reign atop the TV charts for another week, although it’s been a lackluster period for the streaming giant’s series.

The drama, created by David Benioff, D. B. Weiss, and Alexander Woo, recorded only 4.8 million views in its third consecutive week at No. 1. This marks a considerable drop from its impressive 11 million views during its debut weekend, where it secured the runner-up spot.

Since its launch, the series has accumulated just under 40 million views, placing it halfway to the top of the most-watched list.

However, surpassing the viewership of ‘The Witcher‘ Season 1, which amassed over 83 million views in its 91-day premiere window, seems unlikely. ‘3 Body Problem‘ peaked at 15.6 million views in a single week, with viewership sharply declining in subsequent measurements.

Other series on the list experienced declines as well, with ‘The Gentlemen‘ securing third place with 3.7 million views, and the limited series adaptation ‘Ripley‘ landing in sixth place with 2.5 million views.

Several series made their debut on the list this week, including ‘Unlocked: A Jail Experiment‘ in second place with 3.9 million views, the limited series drama ‘Baby Reindeer‘ in fifth with 2.6 million views, and Season 2 of ‘Heartbreak High‘ in seventh with 2.3 million views.

On the film front, true crime documentary ‘What Jennifer Did‘ claimed the top spot on the English-language film list with 18 million views, followed by the live-action/animated crossover ‘Woody the Woodpecker Goes to Camp‘ in second place with 11.8 million views.

Scoop‘ climbed to third place with 8.5 million views, while South African action thriller ‘Heart of the Hunter‘ rounded out the list in tenth place with 3.1 million views.
