‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ may not release on theatres in some countries

The markets where Marvel Studios’ upcoming film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever won’t be allowed to be screened may already be starting to build up.

According to recent reports, Disney is considering forgoing a theatrical release in France due to the country’s new regulations regulating movies and streaming services, theatrical releases wait at least 17 months before being made available there.

By this point, it’s practically a given that China won’t get to see Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. For a number of reasons, the Middle Kingdom has practically trashed the last seven Marvel Studios films that have been produced, and it seems unlikely that government authorities will change their minds any time soon.
