Peacock Streaming Hits High because of WrestleMania 39

During the WWE’s WrestleMania 39 live stream, which was on Peacock, the almost three-year-old service experienced its highest weekend reach.

According to TV Line, Peacock also claims that WrestleMania 39 tops the chart of most hours watched of any live event on the platform, with the exception of the Super Bowl.

Following WrestleMania 39, WWE’s Monday Night Raw on USA Network attracted its second-highest viewership (2.1 million). It also had its highest 18-49 demo rating (1.0) in three years. Raw’s viewership was up 8% and its 18-49 demo number was up 22% when compared to the post-WrestleMania episode from the previous year.

Roman Reigns defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn winning the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. Also Rhea Ripley beating Charlotte Flair to win the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship were some of the highlights of WrestleMania 39.

SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles hosted 161,892 fans over the course of two evenings for WrestleMania 39. WrestleMania 40 will be held at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on April 6–7, 2024, and will once more be streamed exclusively on Peacock.
