The tennis career of British star Justine Pearce (Ella Lily Hyland), an incredible sports prodigy who has taken the world of Grand Slam Tennis by storm (Emma Raducanu anyone? ), is followed in the television series Fifteen-love. Justine had a close relationship with her maverick instructor, Glenn Lapthorn (Aidan Turner). He aided Justine, 17, on her journey to the French Open semifinals. But tragedy soon struck, and Justine’s hopes of really winning a Grand Slam were cruelly and dramatically dashed by a life-changing injury. Her career as a professional tennis player appeared to be over after she broke her wrist.
Five years later, at the age of 22, Justine works with her former physiotherapist at her old tennis academy, Longwood. She believes that she has fully recovered from her past tennis injuries, both physically and mentally. Then Justine makes a shocking accusation against her old coach, forcing everyone at Longwood to reevaluate what they had previously assumed to be true regarding Justine and Glenn’s past achievements.
When Justine and Glen compete for victory at Wimbledon, the year’s Grand Slam grass court tournament, they engage in a struggle over the truth about their pasts as the world of professional tennis is shaken by various forms of dishonesty, lying, and power struggles.
