The Sequel to ‘The Last Kingdom’ Called ‘Seven Kings Must Die’ Has Announced Its Release Date and Revealed New Pictures.

The release date for the The Last Kingdom prequel film on Netflix has been announced. On April 14, Seven Kings Must Die, will make its Netflix debut.

The streamer also released new images for the movie today, teasing fans about what’s to come.

Written by Martha Hillier, “Seven Kings Must Die” is produced by Nigel Marchant, Gareth Neame, and Mat Chaplin. Director Ed Bazalgette is in charge.

It will continue the story of The Last Kingdom, following the tales of Uthred of Bebbanburg. In this 2 hour long sequel, Uthred will adventure once more with his comrades across the scattered kingdom in a bid to form a united England after the death of King Edward as invaders and rival heirs battle for the crown.
