Rihanna reportedly recorded two songs for ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’

The world is waiting for Rihanna to drop new music ahead of her headline Super Bowl LVII appearance in 2023, reports have surfaced that the singer has contributed to the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack.

This isn’t the first time Barbadian singer’s name has been associated with Black Panther; in late 2020, fans speculated that Rihanna would be cast in the film, but the rumor was subsequently discredited.

Rihanna is said to have recorded not one, but two songs for the original soundtrack, as per the sources. The new film will follow in the footsteps of the first Black Panther by releasing both an original soundtrack and a “inspired by” concept album.

Both musical compositions will apparently be distributed through Marvel and Disney, as well as Def Jam and Westbury Road. Rihanna or any of the entities involved are yet to confirm rumors of her involvement to the score.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will premiere in theatres on November 11, has tickets available now.
