The People We Hate at the Wedding, an Amazon comedy starring Kristen Bell (The Good Place), Ben Platt (Dear Evan Hansen), and Allison Janney, trailer released today. On November 18, it will debut on Prime Video worldwide.
The dysfunctional American siblings Alice (Bell) and Paul (Platt), as well as their perpetually upbeat mother (Janney), are invited to their estranged half-sister Eloise’s British wedding as a chance for them to reconnect as more or less adults and learn to love each other like they once did.
The movie is based on the 2017 Grant Grinder novel of the same name. Dustin Milligan (Schitt’s Creek), Isaach De Bankolé (Godfather of Harlem), Karan Soni (Four Samosas), Tony Goldwyn (King Richard), Jorma Taccone (Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers), Julian Ovenden (Avenue 5), and John Macmillan are also featured in the film’s cast (House of the Dragon).

Emmy-winning veteran editor Claire Scanlon, is the director of The People We Hate at the Wedding. The screenplay adaption was handled by Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin and Wendy Molyneux with Ashley Fox and Margot Hand serving as producers.
