‘Alkhallat+’ releases the trailer on Netflix

Alkhallat+ released its first trailer on Netflix.

Alkhallat+, a humorous suspense movie based on the popular online program Alkhallat, premiered in 2017 and has amassed over 1.5 billion views on YouTube and other media.

The Sun of Gnosis actors Suhaib Godus and Ismail Alhassan, as well as influencer and actor Ziyad Alamri, and stand-up comedian Fahad Albutairi are among the cast members. It is directed by Fahad Alammari.  A contract for eight films was struck in November 2020 with the budding Saudi Arabian company Telfaz11, and the feature film is one of the first projects to be produced under that agreement.

A second Telfaz11 film, The Matchmaker, directed by Abdulmohsen Aldhabaan, whose debut movie Last Visit (2019), played in Marrakech and Karlovy Vary, was also announced by Netflix.

Netflix says, “The film will feature four exciting comeback stories of social deception and trickery in four unlikely places, bringing the best of this beloved Saudi show to life.”

The trailer was released today.

The release date for the movie has not been revealed yet.
