‘Snake In The Grass’ Cancelled At USA Network After One Season

The reality series Snake In The Grass, which was hosted by Bobby Bones, will not be returning for another season on the USA Network. The network has cancelled the show after one season, while renewing another show, Barmageddon, hosted by Blake Shelton and Carson Daly, for a second season.

Snake In The Grass and Barmageddon were both part of USA Network’s new unscripted programming lineup announced in May of last year. The upcoming show, Race To Survive Alaska, produced by Original Productions, is still set to debut in April.

Snake in the Grass was a reality TV show where four strangers were placed in the wilderness with the opportunity to win $100,000. The catch was that one of them was a saboteur called the Snake, who was secretly working against the group.

The show featured contestants such as Janelle Pierzina and Rachel Reilly from Big Brother, Cirie Fields, Earl Cole, Malcolm Freberg, and Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick from Survivor, Trish Hegarty and Yul Kwon, UFC’s Todd Duffee, Jeff Zausch and Lacey Jones from Naked and Afraid, athlete Alysia Montano, and Alissa Musto. The program had a preview episode on NBC on July 26 and officially debuted on the USA Network on August 1.
