Directed by Jason Moore, Pitch Perfect is the American musical film inspired by Mickey Rapkin’s novel Pitch Perfect: The Quest for Colligate Capella Glory. The franchise has three movies and one Peacock spin-off TV series under his wing. The movie was first released in 2012 and instantly became a sensation. The film starts with Becca entering college as a freshman student. Music attracts her more than her studies. Benji, Jesse’s roommate, finds out that Timothy is a high school student and reports her, causing her group, Footnotes to disqualify and Bellas to get a chance to perform in the finals in their place. Her motivation worked for them and the Bellas prevailed over the rival group.

The film continues from where the first ended. The girls cheer for their win and Becca for her support and wise decision. Becca and Chloe led the band and took them all to the ICCA National Championship. However, things messed up after Patricia’s ”Fat Amy” pants got ripped in front of the US president, causing it to be a national scandal. This dress malfunction was considered a disgrace and as a result, the girls were banned from the competition.
To clear their name and regain their status, they decided to participate in an international competition no American team ever won. This win was extremely significant as this was the door to returning to the competition. The rival group joins Bella on the journey and tries everything to ruin their performance.

After two years of a great win, graduated Bellas struggled to continue their band outside the college as Becca’s and Jesse’s relationship was struggling. Other group members got excited when gets an invitation from Emily. Thrilled girls decided to meet and give their relationship a second chance. The girls find the perfect opportunity of a USO tour and jump in without giving it a second thought. Becca’s ruthless father finds her at the hotel and gets furious at her. On the other hand, the Bellas get invited to DJ Khaled’s party. Aubery messes things up by starting a fire, causing girls to get thrown out of the party. In no time, Stacie called them to give the news of her daughter Bella’s birth which once again reunited them.
The very next day, Becca gets a proposal to collaborate with DJ Khaled but on the condition that other Bellas will not join her. She declined the offer. The girls sing their final performance Freedom, 90. As the competition ends, the girls parted their ways and decides to move on but remain in touch.
