Later, despite objections from Albuquerque, Khanna suggests that the flight be diverted to Trivandrum because of a cyclone in Cochin. A brief interrogation precedes the investigation and includes Khanna’s medical examination. However, the device is broken, and unable to determine Khanna’s level of intoxication. Khanna says he has a photographic memory, so even though his eyes were closed during the landing, he knew what he was doing. This is revealed in the investigation’s subsequent session.
