Zoey Deutch and Glen Powell are reviving the rom-com.
Zoey Deutch and Glen Powell, a former couple in the rom-com film called to discuss achieving the impossible balance between work and life, the rewards and challenges of working with heroes, and promoting the revival of romantic comedy.
With appearances on the Disney Channel comedy series The Suite Life on Deck and The CW criminal drama series Ringer, Deutch launched her acting career. After making her official film debut in the 2013 gothic romance Beautiful Creatures, she went on to star in the 2014 fantasy horror thriller Vampire Academy, for which she was nominated for a Teen Choice Award.
Powell and Deutch starred in a rom-com film Set it Up in 2018. The rom-com film is based on two busy assistants trying to arrange dates for their strict bosses in New York City. On June 15, 2018, Netflix released the movie, with positive reviews.
Deutch’s new project Something From Tiffany’s is a sweet holiday romance, produced by Reese Witherspoon and is based on Melissa Hill’s novel. The actress has done amazing films and has achieved a lot of awards for her projects.
