Box office records have been broken by Zoe Saldana, who is the first actor to appear in four films that have generated over $2 billion globally.
Saldana has reached the most recent milestone with the recent achievement of Avatar: The Way of Water $2 billion global box office milestone. Other movies starring the actress include the over $2 billion-grossing Avatar, Avengers: Endgame, and Avengers: Infinity War.
Saldana remarked, “I feel honored and like the happiest girl in this town knowing that I was invited to join films with unique directors in a special cast, about her role in all these blockbuster movies. We have the chance to return once more and once more because they struck a chord with people so strongly”.
“If anything, I’ve reaped the rewards and made friends as a result. I still call and rely on my mentors”, Zoe Saldana continued.
In the December 2022 release of the Avatar sequel, Saldana returned as Neytiri. She portrays the green-skinned Gamora in the Marvel movies.
