After Kevin Smith, Zachary Levi comes out in defense of James Gunn and Peter Safran.
The new changes that have been made in the DC studios have brought a lot of criticism towards the new heads. Some of the actors and filmmakers have come out in support of Gunn and Safran while some have criticized their decisions on the changes that have been made.
Zachary Levi speaks in favor of the DC studio heads. Levi came live on his Instagram and while encouraging the DC fans he said, “Time to make something special.”
While interacting with the fans he said they have no idea about why the changes are being made and so they should be patient and see what’s coming. Further, he says, “So I would just say be patient, and give them some space and some time to try and really make something special. And I think something that DC deserves to have and something that [Zack] Snyder tried to do and it just didn’t ultimately materialize, guys.”
Levi shared his thoughts on the changes and said that the changes are not being made on the basis of who the heads like or dislike but on the basis of what is best for the Warners Bros., DC that can make their audience happy.
Concluding his live Levi said, “So guys, just fucking give ’em a break. Take it easy. Take a breath. It’s the holidays, for god’s sake. Just go enjoy what the holidays are, give them some time to enjoy the holidays, and let’s see what happens on the other side of this.”
