Jamie Flatters, who starred in ‘Avatar 2: The Way of Water,’ seems unrecognisable in images from his forthcoming independent film ‘Black Dog.’
Together with his friend George Jaques (‘The Serpent Queen’), Flatters co-wrote the British independent film, which he will also direct. The feature screenwriting debut of Flatters and Jaques is ‘Black Dog.’
In this two-hander, Jamie Flatters and Munn-Francis will play the leads as Sam and Nathan, two adolescents who are dealing with bereavement, love, sexuality, and friendship while travelling throughout the United Kingdom. While Nathan has escaped from his foster family and is looking for his sister, who he believes lives in Scotland, Sam is looking for his mother in the North East of England.
