Spider Man Spinoff Unveils Logo, Thanks to Madame Web

The Madame Web logo for Sony Pictures has been unveiled. The film featuring Dakota Johnson as the titular Madame Web is a part of Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, which also includes the upcoming Kraven the Hunter and the movies Venom, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Morbius, and Venom.

Isabela Merced, whose part in Madame Web is still being kept a mystery, is one of the film’s many stars. Even if there are reports that she will be portraying Spider-Verse heroine Anya Corazon/Araa/Spider-Girl, Merced has stepped forth to present the first official glimpse of the Madame Web emblem.

On her Instagram Story, Isabela showed a glimpse of the Madame Web logo. She captured a picture of a black hat with the logos of Sony and Madame Web on it. The word “Madame Web” is bordered in red and filled in blue, while the word “Sony” is typeset in red. Overall, the hat is quite elegant and sports the movie’s emblem, but fans should be accustomed to movie studios changing superhero movie logos as their release dates approach.

In a recent rearrangement of its live-action schedule, Sony Pictures changed the release dates for three of its planned Marvel films. Kraven the Hunter will be moved from January 13, 2023, to October 6, 2023, while Madame Web will be moved from October 6, 2023, to February 16, 2024. Additionally, a Sony/Marvel film with no title that was originally scheduled to premiere on June 7, 2024, will instead make its debut on July 12, 2024.

“There are movies I would call adjunct to the Spider Man universe,” Sony president Tom Rothman previously said of Sony’s Marvel plans reports according to Deadline “That’s Kraven, which we’re shooting now, and Madame Web, which we’ll start in the spring with SJ Clarkson directing. And then there are many Marvel characters that are standalone.”

The movie arrives in theaters on February 16, 2024.
