Selena Gomez’s Friend Raquelle Stevens Breaks Silence Following ‘My Mind & Me’ Backlash

Selena Gomez’s documentary Selena Gomez My Mind & Me, left many fans side-eyeing her long-time best friend, Raquelle Stevens.

Following it’s release on November 4, 2022, Stevens received backlash after a brief conflict. She was quiet about the heat but broke silence about the issue recently.

After Selena Gomez My Mind And Me was released on Apple TV+, fans began backlashing Raquelle Stevens and targeted her of being “controlling” and “dismissive.” The whole scenario raged after the author tells the pop star during one of the show that she is unhappy and slammed her for not attending a friend’s birthday party.

Stevens said in one of her podcast, “The truth is, we’ve had a friendship for the last decade because it’s real, it’s honest and I’m so grateful for that. I’m grateful that it was included in the documentary because I think that it is important to see, and I think it’s amazing that Selena welcomes honesty in her friendships, and I welcome that in my life too.”

She continued, “When your inner life is strong and you are living a life with integrity, you sleep peacefully every single night. It doesn’t matter what you face, what you go through, there’s peace that comes with living a life of integrity, and so I really am secure in who I am.”

She concluded this matter by saying, “I know the kind of friend that I am. Anyone really could say anything, but I have a peace that is unshakable.”
