The upcoming Season 3 of Mike White’s HBO hit, ‘The White Lotus,’ just got a boost of star power with the addition of seasoned actor Scott Glenn. The Thailand-set installment has already announced a stellar cast, including Carrie Coon, Michelle Monaghan, Leslie Bibb, Parker Posey, and Walton Goggins, to name a few.
Filming is set to commence in and around Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok this month. While character details are tightly under wraps, the diverse ensemble includes a patriarch, a female corporate executive, an actress, mothers, a country club wife, a misfit, and a yogi. Scott Glenn is rumored to portray ‘Jim,’ an individual who may be slowing down physically but remains mentally sharp and slightly cranky.
According to Deadline, Glenn’s return to HBO marks his previous notable role in ‘The Leftovers,’ where he appeared in all three seasons. His impressive career also includes major roles in Marvel’s ‘Daredevil‘ and ‘The Defenders‘ on Netflix, as well as Hulu’s ‘Castle Rock.’ His recent appearances in the apocalyptic thriller ‘Greenland‘ and sports drama ‘The Hill‘ have showcased his versatile talent.

‘The White Lotus,’ created, written, and directed by Mike White, has become an HBO favorite. The show has not only garnered critical acclaim but also an impressive array of Emmy nominations and wins.
