Puss In Boots: The Last Wish has become one of the top 10 highest grossing films of 2022 domestically.
DreamWorks Animation’s Puss In Boots 2 fell off just -6% this weekend with another $5.2M and at the end-of-day it stood at $168.2M total.
The Oscar-nominated picture by filmmakers Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado is the No. 3 biggest studio animated feature since the outbreak began, and it has become the 10th highest-grossing studio title of 2022 domestically.
Puss In Boots: The Last Wish starring Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek was released early in Europe and built on positive word of mouth and soft drops. It just premiered in the United Kingdom and has made $13.8 million in two frames. Mexico leads the way with $23.9 million, followed by France ($20.3 million), Germany ($16.2 million), Brazil ($15.4 million), and Australia ($14 million). In Japan the movie will release on March 17.
