No big changes in “The Flash” after final cut completed

According to a recent source, the long awaited The Flash from Warner Bros has been near completion as the final cut is ready leaving only polishing and VFX work to be done before it is ready for a theatrical release.

There are little details about the premise and the characters. But it is generally accepted that The Flash will adapt the Flashpoint comic book tale and explore DC‘s own cosmos. The movie also features the return of Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton as their various variations of Batman. In addition to Miller and the different version of the Flash they will play.

Affleck hasn’t appeared in the Batsuit since 2017’s Justice League, despite Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Which debuted on HBO Max in 2021, used finished material from the first film. But Keaton’s final performance as Bruce Wayne was in Batman Returns, the 1992 sequel to the character’s 1989 redefinition. Keaton responded when asked why he made the decision to come back, “What it would be like after all these years intrigued me. I wasn’t so much doing it as I was just fascinated about it, strangely, socially. Of course, some of that was me. This entire situation is enormous.”

Despite all that the movie has to offer, Ezra Miller and their future with the DCEU dominated discussions about The Flash. Over the last two years, the actor has been at the center of a number of controversie. And legal issues ranging from harassment and assault to grooming. At one point, reports suggested Warner Bros. was considering scrapping the movie entirely as a last resort option. It was the prospect of losing the film that reportedly compelled Miller to admit fault and seek help for their behavior.

The Flash is scheduled to race into theaters on June 23, 2023
